'S will be shown in Brussels during the Working Title Situation #2. 'S is a solo for and with singer songwriter Ville Ahonen. It is composed of love songs, which are rewritten and treated as choreographic figures articulated by the singing body. It is part of the larger choreographic work Clandestine Sites: Displaced, which is constructed of four solo performances. Each part addresses the spectator with different means and in specific relation to language and choreography. Clandestine sites: Displaced approaches the performance as a love relation; between the audience, the performer, and the materials of the performance. The primary text of the creation is Roland Barthes A Lover's Discourse – Fragments (1977).
